Thank you for a quick delivery as always. One of the best rice I could get in the UK. The only thing is that the price has gone up quite a bit in a short while but I assumed it is related to Brexit...

The price of sushi rice has skyrocketed due to a reduction in quantity available of the new crop and high demand – this year is the highest price we have seen for sushi rice in 17+ years. We also have had increases in cost for freight / shipping and packaging materials as well as energy prices increasing production costs.

We have done all we can to mitigate these increases but unfortunately we have had to increase prices as a result. Rather than substituting the rice for a cheaper alternative we are still buying the same premium short grain sushi you are used to with our brand, but unfortunately this year it comes at a cost.

We hope you continue to enjoy our product and thank you for your custom!
